This is our 2nd time using 3rd Gen and we could not recommend them enough. Their team is friendly, efficient and very professional. I appreciate their punctuality and willingness to help us understand the problem and how to take care of the items they installed. We had our heater replaced and a/c re-installed this past year and both were very pleasant experiences from start to finish and not to mention their fair pricing. Devin was heaven sent! We were out of town when the HVAC issue arose at our short-term rental property. It was 100 degrees outside and inside the house was 87 degrees as our airducts were unexpectedly in need of repair. Devin took my call very late at night, scheduled us for their first appointment at 7 am the following morning. He and his crew took care of the problem and cool air now flows well. Our guests sent us a message to say that Devin fixed the problem and they are now cool and comfortable. I highly recommend 3rdGen for their professionalism, responsiveness and kindliness. I called around 8pm and sounded like I got a call center. But within a few minutes I got a call from a tech. And he came out the next morning and fixed my AC. I appreciate the punctuality and professionalism. And of course getting diagnosing the issue quickly and getting it done.

I called this company to service my Williams wall heater at my rental in Oakland. Adrian was the dispatcher who helped schedule and he was very pleasant and professional to deal with; he was able to schedule for the same day. The tech diagnosed the thermostat as being faulty and he was able to replace it on the spot. They were very reasonably priced and offered a 6 month warranty. I will be using them again for all the HVAC needs of my various properties.
This was the first time using 3rdGen, and will not be the last. The technicians that came to my property, Devin and Ramon were amazing. They were able to complete all scheduled repairs the same day, and even stayed late on a Friday to get them done. Also, they did all the repairs without any inconvenience to my residents. I have more repairs scheduled and look forward to the same incomparable customer service we received before.

Feeling relieved to have found a reliable HVAC company willing and able to keep up with the demand of our rental properties. They are efficient in making appointments with our tenants and always keep us posted – their billing system is nice too. It’s been really cold recently and we’ve been working with them on several projects. They have been very easy to work with. I’m impressed.
Working with 3rdGen Heating and Cooling was a great reminder of what contracting should look like. They were great communicators from the very beginning and followed through with everything that was a agreed on. I’m a General Contractor (Orozcollective Construction Inc) and I needed an HVAC specialist at one of my ongoing projects. The timeline was tight as we found out there was an issue with the furnace late in the project, but 3rdGen did a great job at working with my timeline and getting the job done professionally in the period of time that I needed it complete. Adrian was a pleasure to work with. The job site was always left clean at the end of the day and I never had an issue with him or his crew. The furnace installation passed inspection in a heart beat and we were able to close that job on time. 3rdGen is top of my list whenever I need any HVAC services and would recommend them to any contractor or homeowner with no hesitation.
I called this company as I was having issues with our heating system. The appointment was made for the next day as that is when I was available. This company is professional, punctual, hard working and really listened to what my problem was. Devin was so knowledgeable and got right to the issues that we were having—-and then went to check everything and gave us a really good estimate on costs ect and explained what he was going to do and replace. I definitely am going to recommend this business to friends and family—as well as all of you as you won’t be disappointed with their service. This company is great also with Covid protocols as well. Give them a call for sure if you are having heating problems especially with this cold, cold weather having a heater that works is such a necessity!! They don’t disappoint.
