Pacific Ave, Piedmont: 42k five-port multi-zone heat pump
A Mitsubishi 42k multi-zone heat pump with four indoor units, sized room by room, installed with the general contractor in Piedmont.
For this Piedmont project the general contractor needed heating and cooling for rooms of very different sizes. We used one Mitsubishi MXZ-5D42NL outdoor unit and matched each indoor unit to its room: two 6k wall units for the small rooms, an 18k wall unit for the main space and a 12k recessed ceiling cassette. HERS testing was coordinated as part of the job.
