Common Questions
Scope boundaries and coordination with your controls team.
No. We install and start up the mechanical scope and prepare equipment, interfaces, and documentation for handoff. BAS programming, graphics, sequencing logic, and final controls integration stay with the controls contractor or BAS provider.
Yes. We participate in coordination with the GC, engineer, and controls team so responsibilities, control points, wiring paths, and startup sequencing are clear before equipment is set and commissioned.
We align submittals and installation with the contract documents. We provide point and interface information for the controls team, including equipment capabilities, sensor and actuator locations within our scope, and startup requirements relevant to integration.
Yes. VRF, packaged rooftop replacement, DOAS, heat pumps, tenant improvements, and equipment modernization are common scopes where mechanical installation and a defined controls interface have to line up. We carry the mechanical work and coordinate handoff per project requirements.
