3rdGen supported VRGC Inc. on a commercial retail tenant improvement on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, installing a Mitsubishi four-zone ductless system with four indoor wall units and one outdoor unit. The project also included fresh air supply, exhaust ventilation, and louver coordination to meet the ventilation requirements for the tenant improvement. 3rdGen provided plan-spec commercial HVAC installation for the retail tenant improvement, including the Mitsubishi four-zone ductless system, fresh air supply fan, exhaust fan, louver coordination, refrigerant routing, and field installation. The work required coordination with VRGC Inc. around active tenant conditions, access planning, scaffold use, concrete installation conditions, and inspection requirements.
Outcome
The commercial HVAC and ventilation scope was completed, permitted, and passed inspection through the City of Berkeley in 2023. The finished system provided zoned heating and cooling for the retail tenant improvement, with required fresh air and exhaust ventilation integrated into the project scope.
