A Mitsubishi 18k ducted heat pump with new ductwork, fabricated plenums, a Panasonic ERV and MERV 16 filtration for an Oakland hills home.
Up on Skyline Blvd, this home needed heating, cooling and fresh air together. We installed a Mitsubishi M-Series 18k air handler and outdoor unit, built new supply and return plenums in our shop, ran new insulated duct, and added a Panasonic Intelli-Balance ERV and an AprilAire MERV 16 air cleaner. HERS testing was added to the job.

3rdGen's Role
3rdGen designed the duct and ventilation layout, fabricated the plenums, installed the heat pump, ERV and filtration, and coordinated HERS testing with the general contractor.
Outcome
The home has heat pump heating and cooling, balanced fresh air from the ERV and MERV 16 filtration, all on one duct system.
